39 Days to Christmas!

We're now into the 30's, and continuing the theme of the oldie songs, we have another one that is pretty much a classic...

Released in the year, 1976, by Johnny Mathis, this was his only UK number one, where it stayed in that position for three weeks, and sold over 850,000 copies.

The bizarre fact on this one is that it doesn't actually make any mention of Christmas in the song, but is thought to make reference to it via the words "A tiny star" and "lights up way up high" - a reference to the star of Bethlehem.

So, here we go then, with ths classic "When a Child is Born"

Enjoy!
