It's the video that makes it a Christmas tune, and good to watch too, as it has a story attached to it.
The Power of Love was released in 1984, and was the third single to be released by the group from Liverpool, who were famous for "Relax" and "Two Tribes" and those "Frankie Says Relax" t-shirts!
It did make the number one spot in December, but was beaten to the Christmas number one by the original Band Aid song, and interestingly Godley & Creme directed a nativity themed video.
